Elephant's Trunk Nebula
The Elephant’s Trunk nebula is a concentration of gas and dust located in the constellation of Cepheus around 2,400 light years from Earth. The nebula is part of the larger region known as IC 1396. This image consist of 5 hours of imaging with a Canon 60Da connected to an Orion 80mm refractor mounted on a Celestron CGEM. Stacked with Nebulosity 3.0 and processed with PhotoShop CS6
