Heart Nebula (IC 1805)
The Heart nebula (IC1805), an emission nebula is located in the Perseus arm of our galaxy. The nebula spans around 4 times the diameter of the full moon. It is estimated to be 7,500 light-years away from our planet. This photo consist of 3 hours of exposure (3 and 5 min exposures) taken with a Canon 60Da thru an Orion 80mm telescope on a Celestron CG-5. Images were stacked with Nebulosity and processed with PhotoShop CS6.
