The Bubble Nebula in Cassiopeia
The bubble nebula, NGC 7635, is a large emission nebula in Cassiopeia. The “bubble” is the result of a stellar wind from a massive young star, which is thought to be 10 to 40 times the mass of our sun. The image exposure time was a total of 12 hours 5 minutes (145 x 5 minutes lights; 33 darks; and 64 flats) with an Astro-Physics 130 mm f/8 refractor and SBIG ST2000xcm ccd camera on an Astro-Physcs 1200 mount.
