A close-up into the Milky Way galaxy near the constellation of Sagittarius. M8, M20, M17 and many clusters are distinguishable among the dust lanes and dark regions of the Milky Way. Taken from Valley of Fires Recreation Area near Carrizozo, NM on September 24, 2016. The image consists of 20 x 2 minutes exposures utilizing a Canon 60Da at f6.3, 70mm focal length, and ISO1600. Stacked with Nebulosity 4 and processed with PixInsight 1.8.
